John Lally is Vice President of Commercial, Patent and External Affairs Technology at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. John has led major transformation initiatives across the health and life sciences industries, with nearly two decades of leadership at Fortune 100 companies including Merck and Johnson & Johnson.  His extensive background in life sciences technology leadership and innovation has established him as a respected thought leader, regularly presenting at national conferences.  He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Georgetown University. He also earned a certificate in User Experience Design from MIT and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).  John joined the ACE Board of Directors in 2019, and has previously served as Secretary and Vice Chair.
