The 2010 ACE Fitness Symposium was a huge success—from the pre-con workshops to the hands-on special vendor training sessions, all the way through to Len Kravitz’s dynamic and informative closing keynote session in which he imparted 12 actionable exercise ideas to help you set yourself apart from the competition.
We’ve already received a lot of great feedback from Symposium attendees. Some of the most buzzed-about sessions are Jonathan Ross’ interactive, “Abs Revealed,” which provided us with some creative new exercises to help clients achieve sculpted and well-functioning abdominals, a high-energy, high-impact “Strong & Centered” workout led by industry veteran Chris Freytag and Pat Williams’ motivating and inspiring opening keynote session, “Be Like Mike,” in which he offered practical steps that anyone can adopt now to achieve greatness.
Another notable hi-light, Thursday evening’s pool-side welcome reception, provided a casual and relaxing environment in which to enjoy the warm San Diego weather, great food and live entertainment, as well as a chance to network with industry leaders and get reacquainted with old friends. At Friday’s networking luncheon, Shellie Pfohl, Executive Director of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition (PCFSN), awarded the family of the late George Nissen a lifetime achievement award for his outstanding contributions to the fitness industry. The vendor showroom was also a huge hit and gave fitness professionals an opportunity to test new equipment such as EFI’s PlyoRebounder® and SPRI’s Step360TM.
We hope that those of you who attended the 2010 ACE Fitness Symposium came away with a renewed sense of passion and commitment to your fitness career.
