Course was very boring (and recorded during Covid times/needs updating) and too technical for a GFI that does not teach a Group Cycling class. Will not recommend this course. The quiz was extremely difficult with very technical questions. Please simplify the quiz.

Engage Your Class with Research-based Coaching Strategies for HIIT Indoor Cycling
As one of the most utilized protocols in indoor cycling, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can keep your workouts fresh, push your class to the max and keep them coming back for more. Having the tools to provide creative HIIT protocols will ensure high quality class content, effective program design and meaningful variety in your classes so you can expand your appeal, ultimately helping more participants achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
In this video training, you’ll build a solid foundation of research-based HIIT protocols and strategies to successfully implement into your indoor cycling classes and keep participants engaged. You’ll also examine communication and motivational strategies as well as the highlights of recovery coaching strategies for HIIT classes.
Led by Keli Roberts, an ACE Master Trainer and Schwinn Senior Master Trainer with certifications from ACE, ACSM and AFAA, you’ll walk away with new ideas, coaching tips and motivating strategies to add more variety into your classes and keep them fun!
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Review current HIIT studies and highlight the specifics of each protocol as it pertains to indoor cycling
- Demonstrate how to implement 5 different protocols in a class plan
- Examine coaching and motivational strategies appropriate for an indoor cycling HIIT-centered class
- Highlight recovery coaching strategies for HIIT classes
