This course lacked a good connection between current services and fitness technology. It seemed more conceptual than practical to me. I had a very difficult time staying focused. It may be better for new to the fitness business people but if we're already in business more detailed examples of technology adaptation would be much more valuable

Enhance Your Client Connection with Fitness Apps and Technology
With all of the pivotal changes being made in the fitness industry, at-home gyms, smart fitness equipment and fitness apps have made big waves as a result. According to ResearchAndMarkets.com, fitness equipment sales grew by 170% during the early months of the coronavirus lockdown and continue to trend. While this increase in demand may seem like a challenge for exercise professionals and health coaches, it’s actually an opportunity for innovation.
Even amid the rush to purchase on-demand fitness technology to replicate the gym experience, there is a continuity gap you can fill. Regardless of how high-end the service, clients will lack the coaching they need to meet their goal. Exercise professionals and health coaches can step into this void by providing program design variety, behavior change coaching, accountability, motivation and a personal touch that may be missing from their workouts. In this video training, you will uncover how these trends can enhance your client retention and connection by shifting your perspective on how you structure, price and deliver your services. By adapting to the changing market and integrating technology, you will expand your services and remain competitive.
Join Lauren Shroyer, MS, ATC, Senior Director of Product Development at ACE who has held several positions in fitness operations, from brick-and-mortar studios to online personal training, as she shares insightful ways to embrace fitness technology and empowers you to be one of the leading innovators in this new space.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
• Provide a tech-enabled fitness service for your clients
• Create a service model that maximizes your time and opportunity
• Integrate behavior change coaching with fitness technology to maximize client results
• Apply sound pricing research and structure to your services
Reviews
I loved how knowledgeable Lauren Shroyer is on this course and topic. She speaks from experience and is very up front with the pros and cons of the business and how to stay on your toes. Of course we still have to do the work and build our micro-niche, however she does show us the steps that are needed to take to make it to your destination more successfully!
I enjoyed the course and the information provided to help me connect and collaborate with my clients to build on our relationship. The website's ideas for offering different program options were helpful.
I am on vacation with family and I am dedicated to finishing three classes before I get back and this class was the first of the three. Now that I am wrapping up this round of classes, I am brainstorming where I could best fit in the industry and I already love sharing workouts online, so this material will be very helpful when I start working on that stream of income more heavily.
