A Blueprint for Creating Safe and Effective Outdoor Fitness Experiences Description

The surge to exercise outdoors comes with a world of new opportunities for you, your class participants and/or clients. It brings a fresh new environment, the potential to use more and different equipment, and the power to reduce health inequity in your community. But how do you legally train outdoors within your scope of practice, while being inclusive?

This exciting time can also be overwhelming with the details of park permits, music licensing, liability, etc.. This video training provides you with a checklist for getting your outdoor business started and keeping it thriving. We’ll cover all aspects of outdoor fitness, including marketing, legal issues around park usage, waivers, insurance and class design formats that are inclusive for all fitness levels.

Join Angel Chelik, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Health Coach for a detailed look at how to build a safe and effective outdoor business that reduces your legal risk and increases your revenue. Angel’s 20+ years of experience in both indoor and outdoor group fitness will give you a unique behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of crossing over into the outdoor market.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Determine the legal parameters surrounding outdoor fitness. i.e., liability, waivers, music selection, city permits and insurance
  • Identify program design aspects that are most suitable for outdoor classes and/or sessions
  • Provide an inclusive and engaging experience for your class participants and/or clients

Reviews

Overall FANTASTIC, great speaker along with phenomenal delivery.

This class is very helpful in many ways. It gets you thinking about all aspects of outdoor training. From location and safety to marketing and consideration of the surface and the public spaces. I also liked she spoke about the legal side of things. That always helps before beginning a new practice.

Great presentation and information!
