Enhance One-on-One Coaching and Training with a Community Experience
Have you dealt with clients who miss sessions and seem to sabotage their own success because they lack motivation? The future of the health and wellness profession combines the skills of fitness training and health coaching to help clients maintain motivation by uncovering their own strengths and skills. Health coaching in a group setting can help your clients navigate their own health and wellness by connecting with others on a similar journey.
In this video training, you will learn how to run group coaching sessions and develop the skills you need to empower client motivation while building healthy habits within a community experience. Adding this unique skill set of group coaching to your current practice will help your clients navigate change and add a new dimension of growth to your business.
According to the International Coaching Federation, coaching is “partnering with clients in a creative process that inspires them to maximize their own potential.” Collaborating with your clients so that they make the most of every hour of the day and week to reach their goals is at the core of health coaching.
Led by Marvin A. Nixon, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), Duke-trained Health and Well-being Coach, and Precision Nutrition Level 2 Certified Nutrition Coach, you will be able to guide clients toward establishing their destination, harnessing their strengths and taking ownership of their own health and wellness goals—all while being part of a unique community.
Upon completion, you will be able to:
- Differentiate between health coaching, movement and strength training, and health education, and how they complement each other to help clients reach their wellness goals
- Understand how collaborative coaching supports change
- Implement core coaching skills in a group coaching setting
- Create ground rules, an outline, and an agenda for a group health coaching session
- Apply coaching in a group environment, in person or online, that will support clients in your wellness business
