About
I am a NASM certified personal trainer, Fitness Nutrition specialist, Cardio Performance specialist, and Performance Enhancement Specialist and ACE Group Fitness instructor. I am a board certified Holistic Health Practitioner with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. I am a Certified Nutrition Consultant Master level ( certifications in sports, weight management, holistic nutrition and, nutrition and wellness). Lastly, I am a retired cancer researcher with a PhD in biochemistry/biophysics. I have been a lifelong runner and I am a dancer who loves to lift. I turned to fitness early on because my mother passed away from hypertension and diabetes when I was in my late 20's. More recently I learned to appreciate the importance of a fit and healthy lifestyle as I encountered difficulties in my life. Including making a full recovery after incurring significant chronic back pain resulting from having my car nearly totaled. I am here to help others get healthy and to help others learn how to maintain, and or increase their fitness level with goal of prevention and/or management of chronic diseases that plague so many of us. I also want to inspire others to move, and encourage them to live healthier more fit lifestyles.
