Andra Yanchenko is the owner of the London Tennis School, specializing in education, fitness, yoga and tennis, based in Cypress, Texas. In addition to the ACE Health Coach and Group Fitness Instructor certifications, she has also completed the ACE Therapeutic Exercise Specialist program. Other certifications and specializations include the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer including Behavior Change, Corrective Exercise, Fitness Nutrition, and Weight Loss Specialists; American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer; YogaFit (200 hr); Etcheberry Elite; and Special Olympics Coach certifications in multiple sports. While abroad in England she began her professional training with the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to obtain coaching certification to share her passion for tennis with others. Having enjoyed her community-based work with school-age children of all abilities, wanting to develop a better understanding of child development, and to enhance her coaching ability she returned to the academic classroom. In 2009, she completed her MA Education researching the positive impact physical activity has on the learning process and behavior. She strongly believes that regular physical activity offer health benefits from developing coordination skills to cardiovascular fitness for all ages.
