I obtained a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Maryland, with a specialization in health and earned my social work license in 2009. I pursued a career in social work, focusing on health and behavior modification. In 2017, I obtained a personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise Science [ACE] and I am training to compete with the National Physique Committee [NPC] for the first time in the spring of 2018.
